Great move for NSI Solution: One of our applications manages patient information in the American healthcare system
I mentioned it briefly in a previous post, but now, it’s official! The platform we developed for Medicfusion is now online and available for their clients.
Medicfusion helps medical clinics, predominantly in the US, become paperless. They offer many products and services in order to improve their customer’s productivity and to offer a better service to patients.
A point that was lacking in their service offer, a point that would make them stand out from their competition: offering medical clinics the possibility of creating customised forms to gather information via doctors or directly from the patients, either from home or via interactive terminals in medical clinics.
For the first time ever, fully custom intake, exam forms and patient research studies integrated into an electronic medical record. Exciting "in the clouds" integration between Medicfusion EMR and Zoho Creator makes it possible. [...] Until now, integration of a physician’s proprietary forms into an EMR wasn’t possible. Not without many thousands of dollars in custom form development and even then, not fully integrated. Now it’s possible, thanks to the roll-out of a revolutionary and very exciting integration between Medicfusion EMR and Zoho Creator. [...] For Medicfusion and Zoho Creator, it represents an important technical advancement, utilizing "cloud computing" in exciting new ways with important market implications. [...] A dynamic partnership between Medicfusion and Zoho Creator guru Pascal Veilleux of NSI Solution guarantees a rich and growing suite of features enhancements.
So we developed, under Zoho Creator, a program to manage customisable forms. Zoho Creator can quickly develop high level applications and at an affordable cost. The data is stored in clouds, and in this case, we use the Medicfusion authentication system. We have also created a bank of public forms that clinics can install in their account. You are invited to watch the following page for more details, or contact us directly to discuss it.

NSI Solution, the third component: from Web 2.0 to Enterprise 2.0
![]()
This article is in continuation to two others published recently:
- NSI Solution: Your ideal partner for projects in business process optimisation
- NSI Solution + Zoho = An alliance supporting productivity improvement
Yes, NSI Solution is industrial engineering, continuous improvement, business process optimisation, web application developers… and we also have Enterprise 2.0 experts available.
Why Enterprise 2.0?
I am often asked what the Next Big Thing will be, after Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and all the others. My answer is this: Enterprise2.0
In addition to helping with communications and research, an Enterprise2.0 project is very mobilising for its collaborators. Furthermore, it eliminates considerable waste, such as over-production and waiting periods in the business process (Lean Office).
What we can do for you
Considering our team is, above all, an expert in business process optimisation, we are capable of helping you find the most efficient Enterprise2.0 tools to provide you with the best return on your investments. We can help you built your strategy and provide the necessary support. Besides the technical aspect, our main strength is assisting users so that they have great experiences every day. To do that, we work in close collaboration with experts in journalism, branding and community management.
NSI Solution + Zoho = An alliance supporting productivity improvement

In my last article, I told you about NSI Solution’s expertise in continuous improvement and in business process optimisation.
A little over 2 years ago, I started to wonder about the future of industrial engineering. Then, I discovered the power of Web 2.0 in a business environment (Enterprise 2.0) and that of cloud computing. I was quickly convinced that these tools are the logical extension of The 14 Principles of the Toyota Way and other Lean (Manufacturing, Office, Healthcare, etc) techniques in the business process optimisation.
Then I discovered the Zoho products… particularly Zoho Creator.

NSI Solution subsequently developed complete web applications spanning from CRM (with client access) to ERP systems and a patient information managing application in the American healthcare system. For real! We manage patient information in the American healthcare system without it costing them millions of dollars!
Zoho Creator can quickly develop flexible applications at a very affordable price. So flexible, in fact, that we can produce an application that will adapt perfectly to your process optimisation needs… Dream becomes reality: personalised applications that cost the same amount as mass-production ones.
We are working in close collaboration with the people at Zoho to improve our own products but also to improve Zoho creator, the application development engine. This collaboration propelled NSI Solution to the top ranks of worldwide developers under Zoho Creator. We can also help you integrate any Zoho applications (among others, Writer, Sheet, Invoice or the all new Projects that Thoma told you about here) in your organisation.
During my last trip to Boston for the Enterprise2.0 Conference, Raju Vegesna (Zoho Evangelist) called me to an excellent little meeting, where we discussed the future of our two companies.

On an end note, here are some comments about our applications:
Pascal has been leveraging his strong technical background to create exceptionally powerful Z Creator projects. NSI’s reputation as a development focused provider has grown with the Zoho partnership and I believe has become very profitable. Creator is one of Zoho’s best applications offering an unparalleled opportunity to help customers benefit from the cost, speed and web enablement that the application provides. NSI has quickly grasped the opportunity and is an exceptional example of a successful alliance.
Zoho Newsletter, Décembre 2008
I had the pleasure to work with Pascal on a web based application that I had designed for my blog. The challenge was not in building the application but integrating it with WordPress, the blog platform I had chosen. Pascal understood exactly what I was looking to do, improved my design and delivered exactly what I needed on time. It was a great experience and a learning for me. I had received lower cost offers from all over the world and it was clear that Pascal was the only Consultant who had understood what I was looking to do and delivered it. In IT projects, price is not ending word.
Jacques Sapriel, Senior Program Manager chez Digital Insight, an Intuit Company
Worked with Pascal when he was hired out of school and kept in touch ever since. Worked in multiple project with Pascal. He was able to create software for companies we were helping at the time. One company still he using the software Pascal provided them some 10 years ago.
Marc Paquet, Manager, PWC

Pascal is a great businessman and a friendly person to work with. He has provided solutions to many customers using Zoho Creator. He has created couple of Zoho Creator applications which are completely out-of-this-world. Nobody could have ever imagined it! I highly recommend Pascal to get your business solution done.
Raffic Aslam, Customer Relations Manager, Zoho Corp
Pascal have created a nice database solution for me based on ZOHO Creator – it worked very nice first time it was implemented. Speedy and according to our deals, so I recommend Pascal.
Poul Tang, Consultant at VIA University College, Denmark
Pascal is driven to create “masterpiece” projects using Zoho Creator. He has demonstrated the commitment, skill and passion to deliver excellence to his clients – an ideal partner and great business person. I highly recommend Pascal to anyone wanting to explore Web 2.0 applications and looking for a solution provider to build custom applications using tools like Zoho Creator and other technologies to complete projects on time and on budget.
