De grandes entreprises se tournent vers Google Apps

Ce matin, via le Official Google Enterprise Blog, j’apprends qu’une autre grande entreprise se tourne vers Google Apps. Il s’agit de Taylor Woodrow, une entreprise dans le domaine de la construction qui compte 1,800 employés.

Many of our staff are highly mobile. The ability to provide them with access on the move to email, documents, spreadsheets, and everything else that comes with Google Apps will help increase productivity. [...] Our employees can now get in touch with their colleagues easily from whatever location they are working at. The mobility coupled with the speed of roll-out, the lack of requirement for a physical infrastructure and the speed of new product development is very beneficial.

L’aspect financier est également très important. En effet, ils estiment économiser environ 2M$ en logiciels, infrastructures et support.
